Setting Up for Success
For Solidify Manufacturing, finding the right combination of process capabilities to drive optimal efficiency starts early in the program, allowing us to better design for manufacturability. Working with customers to design the best processes and evaluate part design allows us to reduce complexity, increase efficiency, and ultimately design the manufacturing process that produces the greatest outcome.
With an understanding of the customer’s requirements, we make the necessary up-front investments to identify potential manufacturing challenges. Doing so allows our engineers to spend less time troubleshooting and more time on finding better ways to manufacture parts once the job is underway. Upfront engineering gives us the ability to:
- Configure a work cell with the right combination of equipment and automation to make sure the job is done correctly from the start.
- Handle potential complexities – evaluating tooling, materials, and more to get the job done right, the first time.
- Invest in the right people and equipment, understanding how to best manufacture a part to optimize process performance.
